On Thursday, May 11, 2017, local celebrities and volunteers will hit the streets to sell a special “Keiki Day” edition of The Honolulu Star Advertiser on Oahu and Maui, The Hawaii Tribune Herald and West Hawaii Today on Hawaii, and The Garden Island on Kauai.
Volunteers are needed to join some of Hawaii’s top local celebrities and other volunteers to sell the special edition “Keiki Day” newspaper on Thursday, May 11, 2017. All proceeds from this event benefit Parents And Children Together and its programs serving kids and families in Hawaii.
Last year over 50,000 copies of this special edition were printed and sold statewide, and this year we are working to increase the numbers!
On Thursday, May 11, 2017 we hope to see volunteers in their Parents And Children Together Keiki Day newspaper aprons at the designated locations on Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and the island of Hawaii. Just let us know which site is best for you – at your child’s school drop off line, in front of your office, at the local supermarket, or anywhere you might think of – and newspapers will be dropped at the location of your choice.
Teams of volunteers will be formed to service certain areas, so feel free to bring your friends and co-workers in on the fun.
